隔著太平洋的彼岸，感覺是那麼的困惑。

然而不只有妳是如此，常常我們都會在這茫茫人海中迷失，

搞不清楚我們要的到底是什麼？

 忘了在哪一本書中曾看到過：

「唯一能真正持續的愛是能接受一切的，能接受一切失望，一切失敗，一切背叛。

甚至能接受這樣一種悲哀的事實；最終、最深的慾望只是簡單的相依相伴。」

這話以前不甚了解，如今卻引發了許多感慨。

所謂一段感情的結束，就是組成那段感情的主要人物之間，

彼此為了任何存在的理由而不再保持聯繫。

再多的保證與承諾也將被歲月本身所消解，只剩下一聲長嘆的無奈。

想到起點與終點，我們的日子空虛了又充實了，放鬆了又緊迫了，看穿了又認真了。

然而就像一段故事，既然有了開始，也就代表著會有結束的一天，

儘管故事的內容是多麼刻苦銘心亦或是賺人熱淚。

昨天似乎已經過去卻又沒有過去，經過一夜風乾，它已成為一個深奧的課堂。

這個課堂裡沒有其他學生，只有你，而你也不再有其他更重要的課。

如同余秋雨先生說過的

「生命的教師只能是生命本身。」

在那個青澀的歲月，連自己是誰都還沒有搞清楚，

怎能完成一種關及終身的情感選擇？

因此在一次次的挫敗與跌倒中，人們會漸漸成熟，結識各種異性，

而大約在壯年時，終於會發現那個「惟一」的出現。

但這種發現多半已經沒有意義，因為再準確的發現往往也無法實現。

 既然無法實現，就不要太在乎發現，

即使是「惟一」也只能淡然頷首、隨手揮別。

云云眾生中，相遇其難，相知其難，相守其難。 

在命運面前，徐志摩早就說過了， 「得之，我幸；不得，我命。」

儘管如此我依然深深相信，

沒有人會是永遠孤獨的，除非他自己想要如此。
